Use* of hospital-at-home care among seniors (France, 2012)

* Rates of hospital-at-home (HaH) use relate the number of HaH days in all health establishments – public and private – authorized to practice HaH to 1,000 people aged 75 or more who lived in the considered territory in 2011.

Reading: In France, in 2012, the HaH use is 289 days for 1,000 people aged 75 or more, with great variations between territories and regions. The HaH use rates for the PAERPA pilot territories Burgundy and Nord-Pas-de-Calais (respectively 61 and 172 HaH days for 1,000 seniors) are three times and two times lower than those of their regions.
